September 2008 trip to Libya.
After waiting months for my exceptionally expensive business visa, I was finally given permission to travel.
In the midst of Ramadan, I visited various ancient Roman sites throughout the northern coastal areas
outside of Tripoli including: Leptis Magna, Subaratha, & Villa Silin, in addition to the sights of the town.
Wildly 'alive' with festive spirit at night, I enjoyed several evenings meeting the locals and talking of
potential business deals in this newly minted 'boom town.'
