April 2014 weekend trip to the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart and Sinsheim Auto & Technic Museum in Bavaria. Showing the complete history of the Porsche brand and related technology and racing achievements. The Sinsheim museum, a considerably more commercial enterprise, showed a vast and quirky collection of vintage automobiles, war machinery and vintage aircraft from all over the world. The highlight were two supersonic jets, the Concorde and Soviet era ilyushin, dramatically mounted on pylons high above the museum buildings, accessible from the ground via spiral stairways in the rear, enabling a personal walk through each cabin and cockpit views!
